cover letter

Dear Sir/Madam,

Re: Administrative assistant

I would like to apply for the position above. I have attached a copy of my resume for your review.

During Jan-Sep 2011, I worked as a cashier at Shell Food Market in Michigan. The Market provides different types of products and medicines that customers want including, but not limited to, gas, oil and some cars parts. My daily duties include filling the Order List, contacting suppliers, handling the cash register (Ruby system), welcoming customers and printing the report summary. My facility in English along with my ability to live and work abroad provided me with strong communication and customer service skills.

In addition, I worked as an intern at the Information Quest Center (IQC) at the US embassy during Dec-March, 2012. IQC provides internet access to all students and conducts trainings and workshops for embassy contacts. My daily tasks include general maintenance to computers and provide assistants to students.

I have been using Windows and Microsoft Office applications for many years and that provided me with experience and good typing speed. My enclosed resume provides more details about my education, work experience, skills and interests.
I am enthusiastic about the position and look forward to meeting with you. I am available all the time and ready to work as soon as possible. Thank you
Sincerely,
Hisham M. Al-Khader

My life

My name is Hisham Mohamed. I was born in 1990 in Sana’a. In 2008 after my high school graduation, I enrolled at YALI to improve my English language and by 2009 I graduated. After that, studying Business Administration in English at university of science of technology was the second step. However, I didn’t like that much there so I decided to travel abroad and start all over. Unfortunately due to many unexpected reasons, things did not work out well abroad so I had to come back to my home. And since I don’t like my old college, I enrolled to Sana’a University majoring accounting as a fresh man.
