Utara univerity directs the English section at University of Science & Technology (UST). Utara provides three different majors; Business administration, Information Technology and Interior Design. In 2005, Utara established its business in Sana'a and was the only unversity that provided three different majors in English section. Under the Malaysian direction and by providing qualified professors, Utara reached the top. However, during the revolution, the faculty stuff had along with the qualified professors had to travel and therefore the university had to hire some locals who were not qualified and as a result it lost its popularity.

IQC

IQC 

The information Quest Center (IQC) is gift lab given and directed by the U.S embassy. It is located on the First floor, Building C, YALI institute. IQC provides internet access to all students and conducts many trainings and workshops as well. Last term, students had the chance to learn many things about the camera usage through our photography training that was conducted at the IQC and got certificates that were issued by the U.S embassy.
