During
Jan-Sep 2011, I worked as a cashier at Shell Food Market in Michigan. The Market
provides different types of products and medicines that customers want
including, but not limited to, gas, oil and some cars parts. My daily duties
include filling the Order List, contacting suppliers, handling the cash register
(Ruby system), welcoming customers and printing the report summary. My facility
in English along with my ability to live and work abroad provided me with
strong communication and customer service skills.
In
addition, I worked as an intern at the Information Quest Center (IQC) at the US
embassy during Dec-March, 2012. IQC provides internet access to all students
and conducts trainings and workshops for embassy contacts. My daily tasks
include general maintenance to computers and provide assistants to students.
I
have been using Windows and Microsoft Office applications for many years and
that provided me with experience and good typing speed. My enclosed resume
provides more details about my education, work experience, skills and
interests.
